My approach to therapy is psychodynamic, relational and very client-led. I believe you are the expert on your own life and our work together is about creating space and safety for the unknown to emerge.
Throughout our lives, we construct and inherit stories about who we are, who others must be, and how the world works. These narratives often form in response to early experiences—some protective, some painful—and over time, they can crystallize into rigid patterns that no longer serve us. We may find ourselves trapped by old beliefs, repeating familiar dynamics, or feeling disconnected from parts of ourselves that long to emerge.
Therapy offers a different kind of space, one where these inherited ideas can breathe, loosen, and potentially rearrange themselves. In our work together, we create room for curiosity rather than certainty, for multiple truths rather than singular explanations. Here, you're invited to examine the stories you've been living by, to honor what has kept you safe, and to explore what might be ready to evolve.
I believe true freedom lies not in arriving at a fixed sense of self, but in cultivating the suppleness to grow and change throughout a lifetime. Healing isn't about becoming who you "should" be, it's about developing the capacity to hold your ever-evolving, multidimensional self with compassion and curiosity. Together, we'll explore what it means to live more fluidly within yourself, responsive to both your inner wisdom and the unfolding nature of your life.
I bring genuine curiosity and care to every therapeutic relationship. My work is collaborative—I listen deeply to understand your unique perspective, values, and lived experience, and I hold these as guiding principles for our work together. I'm skilled at helping you articulate complex thoughts and feelings, reflecting back what I hear so we can explore any internal contradictions or conflicts that may be creating distress. My aim is to help you build greater internal cohesion and self-understanding. Above all, I practice cultural humility, recognizing that you are the expert on your own life. I offer warmth, attunement, and a non-judgmental presence where you can feel truly seen and accepted exactly as you are.
"It is necessary to be able to tolerate not knowing long enough to let something emerge that can be known."
